The region Abruzzo

Somewhere between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea, in the beautiful centre of Italy, you find the region Abruzzo. Abruzzo is recognised as the greenest region of Europe. It has been given this title thanks to its high mountains, undulating hills and wonderful nature. It has 3 National Parks, 2 Regional Parks and about 20 nature reserves created to protect the fauna and flora of this wild region.

Everything is as beautiful: snow capped mountains, verdant hills, fish-filled rivers and lakes and a sparkling azure sea. The fertile land provides all sort of fruits and vegetables, excellent wines and some of the best olive oil in the world.
